Selling your house not your home

Selling your house can be a big deal.  How many times have you seen a sign that says HOME for sale?  It really bugs me I'm not selling my home just the house.  We've been trying to sell our little farm house for a year.  The market has been so bad that you do feel like your selling your home.  The buyers have the upper hand and are expecting the world.  I think they want my home.  We have started working with a Realtor and she says every time she shows the house they want my furniture.  I guess I should feel complimented.

I want to change my train of thought.  After reading the above I realize I am just complaining about life.  I want to bloom and move on to the next chapter.  You do sell a house and not a home.  It doesn't matter what the new owners think or do about your house.  As the verse in the Bible or as everyone knows the song "There is a season" things change.  Our house is just a place we gather a home is in the heart( I probably read that on some craft stuff).  Where ever my boys go where ever I go we take along our home.  Maybe thats why there are so many seniors in RV's not so much baggage.  Although those RV's are sometimes a little much for me.  I just hope we sell soon, the farm and us are opening are arms to new memories.
